* BOUNDSTONE COLLEGE BAND*

PLAYING AT THE
SOUTH OF ENGLAND SHOW, ARDINGLY

10th to 12th JUNE 2004



Additional Info: The College Band perform at the South of England Show at Ardingly 10th to 12th June. This is the eighteenth year the band have been invited to represent the college and county at this prestigious event.

The Boundstone Chorus (Adult Education Choir) present David Fanshawe's African Sanctus on Saturday 12th June. This is an amazingly vibrant piece combining the recorded sounds of Africa with the live music of the choir and instrumentalists. A feast for the ears. The first half of the concert will feature our partner schools who have been participating in the Africa project, our cross-curricular arts programme. The annual Blessing of Boats service takes place on Sunday 13th June at 2.30 p.m. on Beach Green, Lancing. This will be followed by an open-air concert by the Boundstone College Band and Cream Teas in St. Michael s Church Hall, South Street, Lancing.

It will be all Greek to us with a performance of The Greek Myth a piece of theatre devised and written by students from Boundstone and its partner schools as part of the ArtXtrA Theatre Workshop currently running on Saturday mornings. The performance will be at 4 p.m. at the college. Free Admission.

The Year 8 & 9 members of the Boundstone Drama Group take you from the sublime to the ridiculous (stopping at all stations) with their Random Theatrical Experience from 16th 18th June. Expect hilarity with pumpkins and Denmark. Boundstone Drama Studio Tickets Adults £5, Students £3

There s a whole weekend of performances planned for Lively Lancing, Swinging Sompting the Boundstone Arts Festival which takes place from 25th 27th June 2004. This will be a real community celebration of the arts with participation from all our performing groups (college & community) and some professional artists and ensembles. Highlights will include a performance by ensemblebash (a world famous percussion ensemble), a Big Bash, Big Sing to which instrumentalists and singers of any ability are welcome for a jam session, the new Community Band, Drama, Dance and lots more. Come and celebrate our creative community!
