Lancing and Sompting News

* ALL CHANGE ON THE BUSES *

There are a number of changes to the routes
that serve Lancing and Sompting:

ROUTE 8:

The Stagecoach Route 8 will be withdrawn. The Worthing to Ferring portion will now be run by Compass.

ROUTE 9:

This will now no longer run to Portslade - it will stop at Southwick.
It will be revised to replace Service 8 on the Mash Barn estate.

ROUTE 700:

Will continue, but slightly re-routed via East Preston and Station Road, Rustington.

ROUTE 702:

This will be renumbered 700, so as not to be confused with the existing 700, which runs to Portsmouth.
The new 700 (which is not the old 700 - see above), will still run to Arundel, but is re-routed via
Goring and Ferring instead of Durrington. It will then continue to East Preston (as now),
then via North Lane, Rustington, and Horsham Road, Littlehampton instead of Sea Road,
South Terrace and Fitzalan Road.
